Home Comforts
The cottage has a comfortable sitting room complete with a welcoming log burning stove and a spacious kitchen diner. To the rear of the property is a secluded courtyard garden – perfect for relaxing on a summer’s evening.
A welcome pack will await you on arrival which will include, tea bags, coffee, sugar & milk. If fresh eggs are available from our hens we will include these. A bottle of wine and a basket of logs is a must.
We provide quality towels and bedding for your stay with linen change on a Saturday if your staying more than a week. If you are celebrating a special occasion, please let us know as we can arrange at a small fee for a bottle of Champagne to await you.

These prices are applicable only for telephone bookings direct with us here at Lumley Cottage.
Bookings via third parties are likely to include commission.
Prices are based on a stay of seven nights.
A deposit of £100 is due at the time of booking with the remaining balance due in full no later than four weeks before the start of your stay.

- Lounge with comfortable sofa and armchair, log burner, television with a Sky TV package, DVD player and iPod docking
- Kitchen/diner with dishwasher, double electric range oven with eight burner gas hob, American style fridge/freezer and microwave
- Cloakroom with washing machine and tumble dryer
Upstairs
- Double bedroom with a Sky TV package
- Single bedroom with large bed and television
- Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, wash basin and WC
General Information
- There is gas fired central heating with thermostatically controlled radiators to every room.
- You get a supply of logs for the log burner.
- There is full broadband wireless internet access within the cottage, free of charge.
- There is a secluded garden area with tables and chairs.
- Towels & Bed linen included.
- We do not allow smoking in the cottage.
- We allow guests to bring ONE small dog to stay in the cottage.
- There is parking along the street outside the cottage and a parking permit is available for a large car and one small car can park in the garage (or it can be used for bike storage).

Small dogs welcome. There’s no need to leave man’s best friend behind when you plan your holiday. Bring your small four legged friend along with you at no extra charge.
