Sue Slack, local landscape artist

Sue’s colourful paintings of local landscape are on show in Lumley Cottage and both The Horseshoe and The Fox and Rabbit Inn. Sue is a keen walker and fell runner and sees these activities as the fundamental connection to the land that inspires her art. Through her on-site drawings, she observes the way even familiar landscapes change according to points along a journey.
